Sailing seminars in autumn - From diesel engines to astro-navigation
This autumn I embarked on an exciting learning journey and took part in various highly interesting sailing seminars. From the basics of boat diesel to fascinating astro navigation - here are the highlights of my sailing seminars at a glance:

I explored the secrets of the marine diesel engine with mechanical engineer Dr. Robert Möckel and circumnavigator Sönke Roever. This course not only gave an insight into the technology, but also practical tips for yacht sailors. From the air and exhaust system to preparing the engine for winter - everything was explained in an easy-to-understand manner.
**Seminar 2: Astro-Navigation with Guide**
A look at the stars! Under the guidance of RYA Yachtmaster Ocean Instructor Leon Schulz, I learned the art of astro-navigation. With new templates and a YACHT astro-navigation crash course, the fascination of traditional navigation was brought back to life.
**Seminar 3: Anchoring Practice – How to make anchoring fun**
Round-the-world sailor Sönke Roever guided me through the world of anchoring practice. From the different types of anchors to dos and don'ts when anchoring - this seminar was a treasure trove of information for relaxed anchoring.
**Seminar 4: Solar systems on sailing yachts**
Solar experts Julian Schüren and Sönke Roever gave a practical explanation of the world of solar systems on sailing yachts. The various components and technologies were illuminated in detail using infographics and photos.
**Digital seminar series: The digital Charter Congress**
A comprehensive source of information! Presentations by experts from the sailing and charter scene not only offered inspiration, but also practical insights into the special features of various areas. From planning to area information - everything was covered.

Detailed insights! Every sailing area was presented, from the German Baltic coast to the Caribbean. Practical information on navigation, weather, tides and anchorages made these presentations the perfect trip planning aid.
